Thanks for finding us and commenting. Welcome to the site! 🙂

You are right, I have gained a son. An awesome one for that matter. The wedding was great and I am looking forward to seeing them again in early January.

Take care,
Bryan

Thanks for finding us and leaving a comment. We would like to extend a very warm welcome to you from “Just One More Year”! 🙂

Regarding children, the time does go by quickly as your children reach milestones in their lives with talking, walking, school, driving, college, and then marriage. Certainly, you have seen many changes with your three year old as she has grown. If you are away from your child for over a week, you can notice the subtle differences. It is amazing how quickly they learn and things change in their world.

Congratulations on retiring at age 36. I am definitely jealous of that and living in the San Diego area!

Take care!
Bryan

She is incredibly lucky to have you (as I’m sure she already knows)! My daughter is 3 currently, so I’ve got some time before having to write my own letter, but I hope it will someday have a lot the same sentiment and joy that I see in yours. Congrats!

The hardest part was not crying when we had the father/daughter dance. I somehow made it through without too many tears. 🙂

You’re right, though, it’s incredible how quickly they change, particularly in the early months. What a thing it is to watch a child grow.

I know that as PF bloggers we wonder sometime if our message is getting communicated very well to our audience. 🙂

The WHY exercise is something I have to do quite often to understand what the heck is driving my behavior. Usually it is different reason then I initially thought. It is an attempted approach for me to find clarity in a chaotic world.

Congratulations on the engagement!
