How can someone possibly live in today’s world without having a couple car payments and credit card bills at a bare minimum? How are you able to live for the day by being so darn frugal? 🙂

Wait, I guess you do have a plan, paying off the home mortgage before you are 40! A plan to continue living within your financial means, ignoring the temptations to take on additional debt. Next thing you will tell me is you plan to retire early!

Take care.

Almost there with the last rental: Just LESS THAT than One More Year! 🙂

I am jealous that you paid off your home in 2001? Fourteen years without a mortgage- awesome financial spot to be.

We are hoping 2016 will be the pivotal year for us to make the leap. Things are beginning to fall in to place and it looks like it will happen. We will have to simply deal with any bumps in the road as they appear.

Thanks for stopping by!

I nor my wife have ever had debt except the mortgage for the house we live in now. Barring extreme emergencies (and a lot of them) I don’t see a time we will ever have debt. Hoping to have a paid for house (the next house we move into in a few years) by age 40 too – but a lot can happen in the mean time! 🙂

I don’t categorize, just save money as much as I can and It is for everything we might need. We’ll adjust our spending accordingly when that time comes. What I like the most about being a good saver is that there are so many cash offers, especially credit cards and high savings rate, these days, I found this exhilarating. Congratulation is in order for you. I’m looking forward to read about your full time ???? in 2016.
